The best is yet to come

If someone would give me an opportunity to speak to all of the people in this world, I would say exactly that – don’t rush into anything because the best is yet to come. If you don’t know what to choose or what to concentrate on – always choose you. An investment into yourself is the best one you can make and it will always pay out. It might take some time, but eventually you will see it. It comes with some uncertainty, which might be a bit unusual for a modern-day human being, and that is exactly the reason why you should trust the journey and yourself.

What I consider one of my biggest strengths is knowing that no matter what happens, I will be okay. You can not give away that kind of a control upon yourself to any person or a job or a place. If you don’t know where to begin, ask yourself what is your biggest fear and actually face that. What is it so special about that specific fear, that might diminish your value as a human being? Now imagine that happened and try to picture the world and life after that. What you will probably see, is that first of all – life goes on. Nobody cares about you as much as you think. You wouldn’t worry about what people think of you if you knew how little time they actually spend doing that. And second of all, you will be probably be alright and just perfectly fine afterwards as well. Unless it’s an apocalyptic type of a scenario, I’m 99% sure you can survive whatever is coming your way. Once you establish that for yourself, there is nothing coming your way that can scare you.

Choosing your path in a world of million opportunities might come difficult and trust me – nobody knows what in the hell we are doing out here. It might look that way, because people are very good at pretending and nobody talks loudly about their struggles. If you feel like everyone’s got it all figured out and you’re the only one cluelessly ruminating out there I just hope that you can find some reassurance in this and instead of rushing into something that you think is being expected of you, rather stop for a second, take a step back and ask yourself what is it that you truly want and why seeing everyone else doing their thing (or what at least looks like doing their thing) is having such a big impact on you.

Have a blessed summer!

Love, Faja
